I was at Education Week when Dad got one of the long upstairs walls ready to set into place. Since I am the photo-journalist for the barn and I wasn't there, it is a good thing that our neighbors were coming home from the activity at the Kinton Grange just in time to snap this pic. It must be quite a curious sight to the neighbors and to the passers-by on Farmington Road.
Dad is probably getting a reputation as the Tom Sawyer of the neighborhood. He manages to talk a lot of people into helping him with the barn!
Woops, I just looked more closely at the pix. I only count 9. It is a motley crew of Bells, Smiths, some of Reed Bell's friends and David Bennett.
